About Me
I’m a strong believer that business doesn’t have to mean boring. And the fantastic thing about social media is that it’s a great way to get the voice of your business and core values across to your audience.
I want to use my passion for digital and social media to help you tell the story of your business.
Hey, I'm Kayleigh! A peely wally Scottish lass, living in Scotland's newest city, Dunfermline, with my husband and son.
I’m not a digital native. I grew up in a time when internet usage was limited to about three hours a week because nobody could use the phone when you were online! Despite this, I find it hard to remember what life was like before you could ‘Google’ everything on a tiny computer in your pocket (and I’m also amazed I made it anywhere without the use of Google maps!).
I’ve been producing online content for almost a decade and I love all things digital. My passion started with a blog – a creative outlet for me when I was working for a big bank. Since then I’ve grown my blog, been part of a team that organised sold out blogging events in Edinburgh, all through the use of social media. Using social media as a marketing tool is really interesting; it’s never been easier to find out about our customers and to give them insight into the people behind a business.
I knew I wanted a job in marketing so I started reading everything I could. I’ve taken courses and attended workshops, all with the goal of learning as much as I can to make a career for myself in content creation. For someone who wasn’t always the most academically minded in school, I love to learn. Which is a good thing. Social media is constantly changing and I make sure I keep on top of it so you don’t have to! My time working for the bank gave me essential skills that can be translated to any type of business – meaning that while I’m a really creative person I also have the business sense often needed when working on projects.
